Tasked to design a new ‘front garden’ for a beautiful barn standing in an exposed 3 acre field, I decided to re-route a sweeping driveway out of the eye-line of the main views; create a sunken dell patio area with fire-pit; and surround it with a stunning wildflower bank to allow the owners to enjoy the evening sun with their family in privacy.
Emma is an absolute pleasure to work with – very professional, an efficient project manager and great at keeping you informed and involved in all decisions. Her designs are very considered, taking into account the surroundings and look and feel of your house. Her design of our driveway and back entrance to our home was transformational – simple and totally in keeping with our converted barn and the rural setting it is based in. We will definitely use Emma again – we know her designs will meet our brief and take our thinking to the next level.
