A regular traveller to the Mediterranean and South Africa, my client needed little persuasion to maximise the sun-loving potential of her garden and lose the high maintenance/low interest lawn.  I created a simple, sustainable ‘dry garden’ combining silvery evergreens, textural grasses and bursts of seasonal colour wrapping around two paved seating areas linked via informal gravel pathways.
