Work in progress for a colourful, year-round family space

My clients wanted a new vision for their new family space, a plan that could be developed over time alongside future building works. The brief included a space to eat in the garden, lots of colourful, year-round interest to look out on from the house, and some screening to create more privacy on such an open site.

We started with a masterplan, then phase 1 focused on creating the ‘bones’ of the garden – a new year-round outdoor seating area, screening trees with lots of seasonal interest and a framework of outlying borders that can be connected with other areas in the future.
